Applicants must have a minimum of two years of maritime/marine experience, at the level of U.S. Coast Guard licensed 2nd engineer or higher. A background in environmental compliance is ideal. Applicants with experience of marine sanitation systems, staff supervision and training adults are preferred.

Job duties include:
o Training Ocean Rangers
o Reviewing/Approving the training course syllabus
o Supervising Ocean Rangers
o Reviewing Ocean Ranger reports
o Liaising with the Department of Environmental Conservation Project Manager and Saltwater staff

Saltwater Inc. is looking for a Marine Engineer to work on the State of Alaska\'s Ocean Ranger Program, as part of our management team. The right individual for the job will have a flexible attitude and the ability to work well with a variety of different people. The position, which is comparable to that of a port engineer, will be based in Juneau, Alaska and will require some travel.
